My Evening Skincare Routine

My Evening Skincare Routine

I wanted to share my current evening skincare routing with you all. I use a lot of different products but these are my go to items that I reach for almost every night.

1. Origins Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask- This mask is said to "clear pores, absorb environmental toxins, and dissolve impurities". I use this when my skin needs a refresher. My skin tends to have a mind of its own and when I start breaking out I always pull this mask out and use it. It always helps clear up my skin issues.

2. Origins Zero Oil Deep Pore Cleanser- I love how light this cleanser is. I use this almost every night with and with out my Clarisonic. It does a great job of removing makeup or any other dirt etc. thats on my skin.

-Sidenote: I use my Clarisonic very regularly and it is amazing. It has really helped with my breakouts and has helped reduce redness from acne scars. I highly suggest trying this if you are acne prone.

3. Caudalie Vinosource S.O.S Thirst Quenching Serum- This is a new skin care item in my routine and I have really been enjoying it. My skin can be dry in places and its nice to have an extra step of moisture to add to my routine.

4. Embryolisse Lait-Cream Concentre- This is my all time favorite moisturizer. I started using this in my professional kit about four years ago and after a while I started buying it for myself as well. Its gentle but adds so much moisture. I also like that its a very neutral scent which is nice because I don't like heavy scents in my moisturizers (especially before bed).

5. Algenist Complete Eye Renewal Balm- I got this eye cream in one of my Glossy Box's and I believe this is just a large sample size. This sample has seriously lasted me forever. I like how smooth and soft it makes my under eye area. I haven't had any dry patches or tenderness in my eye area since using this.  I wouldn't use this if you are looking for de-puffing or brightening though. I haven't noticed any changes to the puffiness or under eye circles.

6. Origins Super Spot Remover Acne Treatment Gel- This has been a lifesaver. I use this any time I get any sort of blemish. I dab a little bit of this on the spot before bed and the spot looks noticeable better in the morning. It is a TINY little jar but you use a tiny amount on each blemish and it lasts months.

I hope you all enjoyed this post and make sure to comment below with some of your favorite skin care items!

Summer Blush Favorites

Summer Blush Favorites

Hello Everyone,
I wanted to share with you some of my favorite blushes at the moment.

1. Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush " DiffusedHeat" - I love this blush because it is mixed with the ambient lighting powder (the white swirl). This adds the most beautiful glow to this blush. No need for a highlighter when you use these.

2. Josie Maran Coconut Watercolor Cheek Gelee"Poppy Paradise" - I loving using a good cream blush and this one is especially great. It is so sheer but so easily build able. This blush has a staining effect that helps to make this blush last for hours.

3. Marc Jacobs Shameless Bold Blush"Promiscuous" - I have a few of these Marc Jacobs blushes and I love them all. They are so beautiful but so subtle on the cheeks. Every shade is wearable and looks good on so many skin tones.

4. Jouer Mineral Powder Blush "Blossom" - This is a new addition to my makeup collection and I love it already. It’s a gorgeous soft peach shade and it adds so much life to my cheeks!

I hope you all enjoyed this post. Make sure to comment below and share some of your favorite blushes this summer!

My Fashion Wish List

My Fashion Wish List

Hello Everyone,
I have been trying hard to only buy pieces that add to my wardrobe. I also want to buy items that I can pair with things I already own. It has really been tough because I feel like I am spending more money on individual items but overall I know I am investing in good pieces. These are a few things I have my eyes on:

1. The rabbi Slingback Sandal in Etched Zigzag (Madewell)- I have loved brown sandals this summer and I love this unique design. I love the idea of having a sandal to step into like a flat rather than have to buckle in. It is such an easy cute piece that would add to any outfit.

2. Barneys Gripey Leather Biker jacket (ASOS)- It may seem strange to have a leather jacket on my summer wish list but I have a good reason for this. I feel like if I buy a leather jacket now I will save money because most of them are on sale right now. I know I will want one for the fall so I might as well find a good deal.

3. Gildstitch Pendant Necklace (Madewell) - I love Madewell jewelry and I think this is a great versatile piece.

4. The Transport Tote (Madewell)- I would love to have a bag that I can throw everything in especially when are going on weekend trips etc.  I like this one because I could throw my purse in it as well as my computer and other odds and ends. I also love the mix of black and brown leather.

5. Cotton Lakeshore Midi Dress (Madewell) - I have so many random parties and showers to go to over the next few months and I am always looking for cute summery dresses to wear to them. I love this because it is a nice color but super basic. I may need to get this for one of our wedding showers or even my bridal shower. :)

6. Ray-Ban Erika Sunglasses (J-crew)- I love these and I think these will be so cute with any summer outfit. I work out doors a lot so I always have sunglasses with me. I think it would be nice to invest in a good pair.

I hope you all enjoyed my wish list. Let me know some of your fashion favorites this summer!

Current Foundation Favorites

Hey Everyone!
I wanted to share with you all some of my new foundation favorites. Foundations are always my favorite products to try so I am always purchasing new ones and comparing them to my current favorites. The last couple of months these are the top five that I have been reaching for:

1. NARS All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation - This is my go to foundation at the moment. My skin has been on the iffy side lately and this is a serious full coverage foundation that feels so light and breathable. This foundation lasts at least 8 hours and usually more. The only down side is that there is no SPF so I always have to add another product into my routine when I wear it.

2. Estee Lauder Double Wear Light - I think this is such an awesome product. Its so light (like a tinted moisturizer) but it sets to a matte finish and stays perfect all day long. This is the lightest shade, which is unfortunately a tad to dark for me but if you can find a perfect match then I highly recommend it!

3. Jouer Luminizing Moisture Tint- this is my newest foundation purchase but has quickly become one of my favorites. This is a tinted moisturizer with a dewy finish. The coverage is very light but lasts a lot longer on my skin than any of my other tinted moisturizers. I love throwing this on when I am having a day off running errands or just on vacation. Its easy but gives a gorgeous glow.

4. Chanel Perfection Lumiere Velvet- I like wearing this foundation really anytime. It is a lightweight medium coverage foundation with SPF 15. I love traveling with this product because of the lightweight tiny packaging. This is the most expensive of the bunch so I tend to only wear it on special occasions.

5. Bareminerals Bareskin Pure Brightening Serum Foundation - I wear this foundation when I want a lightweight but medium to full coverage foundation. I tend to pick this one when I know I will be working outdoors because it has SPF 20. This has a pretty dewy finish on my skin so I always powder this product to ensure that it lasts all day.

I hope you all enjoyed this post and I would love to know what your favorite foundations are at the moment!

FOTD: Bronze and Mauve

Hello Everyone,
I wanted to share with you all a look that I wore the other day. It is simple but beautiful and the best part.. Under 10 Minutes.
I used the Estee Lauder Double Wear Lightfoundation all over my face. I then applied the Chanel Correcteur PerfectionConcealer to any areas that needed additional coverage. After blending all of that really well, I powdered with the Charlotte Tilbury Flawless AirbrushPowder. Then taking a fluffy powder brush I bronzed up my skin using the NYCSunny Bronzer. I have loved my Marc Jacobs blush in "Rebellious" so I used that and just applied a touch to the apples of my cheeks. Then taking a very small amount of the Mary Louminizer by theBalm just above my cheekbones for a subtle glow.
Once I was done with the face, I moved onto eyes. I always fill in my eyebrows and I have been using the Charlotte Tilbury EyebrowLift Pencil. I then applied the bronzy color "Nez", from the NARSissist palette, to my eyelid blending all the way up to the crease. I took a little bit of that same shade just under my lower lash line. After finishing the eye shadow, I applied mascara-using Diorshow on the top and Clinique bottom lash on the bottom. Last step was to apply "Bond girl" to my lips and the look was finished.

I hope you all enjoyed this post and I hope you enjoy recreating it!

Thanks for reading and I hope this was helpful!
