Top 5 Grammy Makeup Looks 2014

Hello Everyone!
There were some really beautiful looks this year on the Grammy red carpet. Here are some of my favorites:

1. Miley Cyrus

I think Miley's makeup looks absolutely stunning. It enhances all of her natural beauty. That pink lip shade compliments her green eyes perfectly, her skin looks so fresh and youthful and the gold shades on her eyes work well with the pink tones. I also love that the makeup artist kept her brows on the natural side. It compliments the "my face but better" makeup that she rocked on the red carpet this year.

2.  Taylor Swift

This look is a great way to wear a silver/black smokey eye.  The gray tones used really enhance how blue her eyes are. I like the combination of gray and pink, it keeps the look uniform. The only critique I have is that I would have toned down the silver thats on the inner corner of her eye. I think its a bit much. Otherwise I think this look is really beautiful and suits her well.

3. Kelly Osbourne

I LOVE this look so much. This is such a fun twist on a classic 1940s makeup. Her brows are perfect, I love her winged liner and the lashes are perfection. On top of all of that, this lip color is the PERFECT shade for her. This was probably my favorite makeup look of the night.

4. Amber Rose

Amber rose is so stunningly beautiful isn't she? I loved this bronzy gold look on her. Her skin was glowing and the choice to use black liner really made her eyes pop. She also chose to have her tattoo's covered up for this look. The lip color is perfect and the white liner on her waterline really helped to open up her eyes and make them look bigger.

5. Rita Ora

I love this bold look for the red carpet. The green and purple compliment each other in such a nice way. I don't think a lot of people can pull off a purple smokey eye on the red carpet but with her gorgeous skin and nude lip I think this works great. The key with this look is that the dark purple shade does not go above the crease of her eye. Also if you can see the stitching around the color of her dress, the purple shade is almost exactly the same as her eye color.

Key products to achieve this look:
  • Laura Mercier Artist Palette 2013
  • Covergirl 3 in 1 Foundation
  • MAC Lipstick "Blankety"

Well I hope you all enjoyed this post and if you are reading this from Atlanta right now HAPPY SNOW DAY :)

I hope this was helpful!
