Naked Basics Palette Review

Hello Everyone!!
I have everyone has had a great week so far! I wanted to talk about the "Naked Basics" Palette today. I know there is a million reviews on this palette already but I wanted to share with you why I love it.

If you can't tell, this palette has been very loved. I actually use this a TON on clients. Here is why I love this palette:
  1. I always try to stick to matte eye shadows when I am working with an HD camera. This palette has 5 matte shadows that range from light to dark and this makes it easy to create looks!
  2. I love having a matte eye look and then popping "Venus" a slightly shimmery shade in the tear duct.
  3. I LOVE this palette for filling in eye brows. I have been able to match 90% of people from this palette!
  4. It is a great travel palette because it is so small! It will fit in any makeup travel bag!
  5. It is so wearable. "w.o.s" and "naked 2" can be worn alone all over the lid for a wash of color, you could add "Faint" or "Crave" in the lash line for a subtle liner and then fill in your brows.. WHAT CAN THIS PALETTE NOT DO?
"Venus"  a light satin finished white:

"Foxy" a light yellow toned neutral

"W.O.S" a pink toned neautral

"Naked 2" a light brownish taupe

"Faint" a medium cool brown

"Crave"  is a pretty pure black

My only issue with these eye shadows is that I wish that they were slightly more creamy and less powdery. But they still do have great pigment and last a long time!

Over all I think this is a great investment! The price for this palette is $27.00 with is about $4.50 an eye shadow! Not bad!!! You can find this palette on the Urban Decay website or in Sephora or Ulta!

If you are looking for a great neutrals palette I would definitely give this one a go!!

I hope this was helpful :)

  1. I thought this would be a better purchase than the Naked palette and I am in love! I also found out that when you finish up the shadows, you can pop out the plastic and insert a magnet board. It can be a compact for depotted eyeshadows when traveling!
