Products I am Loving!

Hello Everyone!

I have been testing some new products for my professional makeup kit and I have found some gems! I would not consider myself a one brand type of girl.. I really try to branch out and find great products from lots of different brands. I also have to admit I have never been a big fan of MAC... HOWEVER I have been experimenting with this brand a lot lately and I have been really impressed! You can probably tell because MAC has made 3/5 of my top products at the moment!! Really excited to explore deeper into this brand!

Some products I love:

1) Fix +
So this product has been really wonderful. It has a few different purposes but I really like it to spray all over my face when I finish applying my makeup. It takes away the powdery feel to the skin and really helps to make skin look smooth and natural. LOVE

2) Mineralize Skinfinish Natural
I have this product in light, medium dark, and dark. I used these on my last photo shoot and I really liked the finish these powders had on the skin. I used these to set my foundations and they did not look cakey at all. Really beautiful flawless finish! I will most definitely purchase more shades!

3) Strobe Cream/ Travel Size
This little guy is great for brightening up the face! It has a pearly finish when applied directly to skin. I usually just mix a little bit into the foundation just to add a bit of glow to the skin. I think it can also be used as a moisturizer if I am not mistaken... But I feel like this should be a must have for anyone that loves makeup. :)

4) Smashbox " The Master Class Palette"

I mean this picture is worth a thousand words... I LOVE the eye shadows (they do have some fall out so be careful).. I love the two blush colors.. and everything else is great also. This product is only $59.00 which is insane for 28 eye shadows, 8 cream liners, 2 blushes, 3 highlighs, and 4 super pigmented liglosses. It is so easy for any who does a lot of traveling and GREAT for pro makeup artists.

5) Rimmel Fix and Perfect Pro Primer

This  primer is amazing. It really does pro long your makeup and I love that it also helps to smooth, protect, and mattify the skin. I love how inexpensive it is and that  it is sold at ULTA and basically any drugstore you go to. I have really been loving Rimmel lately and this is just one of the many stand out products they have in their makeup line!

Well those are my top five stand out products at the moment. I would love to know any and all of your stand out products! Comment below and tell me your fav at the moment!

P.S. I was laying bed watching TV when I decided I really wanted to do this post.. This explains why I pulled the images right from the websites! I hope you all do not mind. :)

I am excited for the weekend my friends!! I had a great day today though! I got some awesome news about some work I will be doing this year! More info to come soon!

Have a great day tomorrow and I hope this was helpful!!

Milani Baked Blush

Hello Everyone!!

Sorry I have not posted anything in a while. Life got a little busy!  I just wanted to give "Milani Baked Blushes" a quick shout out. I purchased all three of these from the drugstore! They are around $8.00 but you can get them for even less when they have bogo 1/2 off sales!

Anyways, I own these three colors which is a pink, a coral (this looks really orange in pictures) and a deeper berry color. I really like them a lot! They are baked blushes. "Baked" blushes differ from regular blushes because they are a colored liquid and they bake the liquid on terra cotta tiles before packaging. They bake the blushes on tile because it gives it a creamier finish compared to other blushes. Applying the product wet will also help the product to stay longer!

All three colors I chose have a shimmery color infused to give the blush a shimmery glow to the cheeks! This is great for every day wear but not great for anyone who will on camera. I never use any sort of shimmer (unless requested) when I am working in film/TV. For the everyday person who wants a beautiful glow on the cheeks these are wonderful!! I chose these three colors because they were all so different! I love the wide range of colors that I purchased! I can also mix these to get other colors! I have noticed that most drugstores I go into they are sold out of most of the colors! For me this was a good sign and I was right. I am a huge fan!

The three colors I chose are (from left to right) 01-Dolce Pink, 02-Rose D'Oro, and 09-Red Vino. Like I said the orange one does NOT look that orange in person (note for anyone using this on camera it will appear more orange in photographs).

Here are some swatches to give you guys an idea of the pigmentation. I would say these are one of the most pigmented blushes I have used. This was a very light touch and you can see the color pay off is pretty crazy. This does mean you should be light handed and tap off an excess on the brush before applying! But these blushes are going to last me forever because I barely use any!! I am excited to try some more shades when the stores near me stock up again! Let me know what you think if you have tried these blushes! Also if you have any you recommend let me know! I love blush and I am always willing to try new ones!

I hope you all have had a great week. YAY FRIDAY :)

I hope this was helpful!
