FOTD: Bronze and Mauve

Hello Everyone,
I wanted to share with you all a look that I wore the other day. It is simple but beautiful and the best part.. Under 10 Minutes.
I used the Estee Lauder Double Wear Lightfoundation all over my face. I then applied the Chanel Correcteur PerfectionConcealer to any areas that needed additional coverage. After blending all of that really well, I powdered with the Charlotte Tilbury Flawless AirbrushPowder. Then taking a fluffy powder brush I bronzed up my skin using the NYCSunny Bronzer. I have loved my Marc Jacobs blush in "Rebellious" so I used that and just applied a touch to the apples of my cheeks. Then taking a very small amount of the Mary Louminizer by theBalm just above my cheekbones for a subtle glow.
Once I was done with the face, I moved onto eyes. I always fill in my eyebrows and I have been using the Charlotte Tilbury EyebrowLift Pencil. I then applied the bronzy color "Nez", from the NARSissist palette, to my eyelid blending all the way up to the crease. I took a little bit of that same shade just under my lower lash line. After finishing the eye shadow, I applied mascara-using Diorshow on the top and Clinique bottom lash on the bottom. Last step was to apply "Bond girl" to my lips and the look was finished.

I hope you all enjoyed this post and I hope you enjoy recreating it!

Thanks for reading and I hope this was helpful!

K.I.S.S.I.N.G Lipstick

Charlotte Tilbury K.I.S.S.I.N.G Lipstick

Charlotte Tilbury’s makeup line has quickly become one of my favorites. It seems like every product I have tried goes above and beyond my expectations. As you can see, her lipsticks have grabbed my attention. Not only is the packaging absolutely stunning (SERIOUSLY STUNNING), but the quality of the lipstick is great.

I like lipsticks that stay on. I hate fussing with feathering and I hate having to check the mirror every hour to make sure my lipstick isn’t a hot mess. These are no fuss kind of lipsticks. I apply these and I know that they are going to look for hours.

When I apply lipstick (especially darker colors) I like to blot with a tissue and then reapply them. This allows me to layer the product with out it getting to thick and messy. I also find that this helps the product to stay in place much longer.

I love when I find a great lipstick that also comes with a great color range. It is great to have the option of  a light pink to the darkest of wine shades and each one looks just as good as the next.

Here are the shades from right to left:
1.     Love Bite- a beautiful warm red. Has a touch of an orange tint to it.
2.     Amazing Grace- A lovely medium pink (Matte Revolution line)
3.     Bond Girl- a dusty rose (Matte Revolution line)
4.     Coachella Coral- a medium toned coral.
5.     Red Carpet Red- a gorgeous deep red  (Matte Revolution line)
6.     Night Crimson- a deep berry wine shade

Even though the line is called “Matte Revolution”, I wouldn’t consider them a true matte at all. They are still very moisturizing and comfortable to wear but with a slightly less sheen to them.

Overall, I think these are worth every penny. They sell for $32.00 and you can purchase some of the range on Beautylish if you live in the states but if you live in the UK you can purchase them from Selfridges.

I hope this was helpful and I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

My Summer Face

It has been way to long. I have missed this blog a lot over the past few months but SO much has happened. I got engaged! I also got a beautiful puppy and the film industry in Atlanta is booming so I have been very busy with work. I have made it a goal to make sure I stay on top of blogging though so expect consistent posts from now on!

I am so happy that its now summer time in Atlanta. I have really enjoyed the weather, summer activities but most of all whipping out my bright lip sticks.

My go to summer time look at the moment is very laid back. This look is great for a woman on the go. I would describe this as a fun polished look.

Besides my everyday essentials (mascara, eye brow products, lotion etc.) these are the products that you will catch me wearing most days.

I seriously can’t say enough good things about this palette. The palette has an amazing shade range, great pigment and has both matte and shimmery shades. The compact is durable which makes it great for travel. I have been reach for “Nepal” (lighter shade circled) and “Nez” (darker shade circled) the most.

I received this blush in one of my Glossybox’s. At first I didn’t reach for it much but recently I have been wearing it a ton. It is a beautiful pink shade that has a great sheen to it. It is perfect for summer. It lasts a long time on the cheeks.
I recently purchased this shade from CVS and I am so excited that I found it. I love wearing reds and wine shades but I wanted to find a deeper pink that I could wear during the summer months. This shade is a lovely berry pink. The qualities of these lipsticks are impressive. They are very comfortable on the lips and last for a long time.
I love every Chanel foundation I have tried so I don’t know why I waited so long to try the new Chanel foundation. This foundation is medium coverage but a skin like finish. It lasts at least 6-8 hours with out a primer. I like this foundation for summertime because it doesn’t feel heavy but it can withstand the heat. This is also a great product to travel with because the packaging is plastic which makes it very light weight.
This is an old favorite that I just decided to pick up again. I love the coverage of this concealer. It covers everything I need it to cover with out looking cakey or unnatural. It lasts on my under eyes all day and I don’t find that it creases much at all. For the price it can’t be beat.

Comment below and tell me some of your favorites this spring/summer!

I hope you are all well and thank you for reading even when I don't have new material! I appreciate your support and I am so thankful for this amazing community.
